Charterhouse Square: A Summer Showcase To Remember

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a refreshing selection of summery drinks, including classic Pimm’s, vibrant Pea Snap and Flora Dora cocktails, and a fragrant mint and basil lemonade. These were perfectly paired with a colourful array of canapés, from a playful take on the quintessentially British ‘ham, egg and chips’ (ham hock terrine, egg purée, piccalilli and crisp potato) to a seasonal smoked trout tart topped with gin and tonic crème fraîche, trout roe and delicate bronze fennel.

Moving Venue also curated two exceptional food stations. The first, their brand-new Burrata Station, featuring luxuriously creamy burrata served with toppings like hand-carved Prosciutto di San Daniele and succulent peach. The second, a whimsical Picnic in the Park Station, celebrated beloved British classics with flaky sausage rolls, tender steak rolls, coronation chicken sandwiches and more.

Alongside the food and drink, guests were treated to a variety of gorgeous summer entertainment that brought the space to life. The garden buzzed with laughter as guests enjoyed classic lawn games, from croquet to giant Jenga, while a charming photo opportunity offered the perfect spot to capture the moment. Live acoustic music played throughout the afternoon, creating a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere that carried into the evening, culminating in a captivating performance by a saxophone player, who provided the perfect soundtrack as the sun began to set over Charterhouse Square.
